I've been dreaming of this day for a long time.

Listen to "Dreaming" by VHS Collection and pair it with Leinie's Summer Shandy. Both are full of sunshine. When growing up, you imagine what life will be like as an adult. You've been dreaming of a time of success. When adulthood comes, you have a lot to be proud of and now is the time when you can brag about your accomplishments. "I've been dreaming of this day for a long time. I've been waiting for this moment since I was young with thoughts and ideas about the sun." You're at least twenty-one years old now and time has flown by. Spring is here and the summer beers are already in stock. You've done so much with your life and there is no better time to celebrate and reflect on the great memories you've created over time. "Thinking I could never amount to nothing; oh no. Maybe one day I could prove them wrong." Summer Shandy by Leinenkugel creates a perfect pairing to reflect on good times. It will take you back to your ch

The house is glass.

"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones" means that one should not criticize others, because everybody has faults of one kind or another. In other words, don't be be a hypocrite. Cage The Elephant doesn't care what you think of them and they prove it in their newest song titled "House Of Glass." This tune is unlike anything else they've created. Most listeners know of this band as an indie rock band and that's it. "House Of Glass" is straight up punk and it's a refreshing take on the alternative scene that hasn't really been heard in a few decades. "Brick by brick…make it last. Hit that line. The house is glass." The band considers a lot more flaws when living in a glass house than taking on criticism and hypocrisy. Cage the Elephant thinks of the reflections on the house as a metaphor for doing the same thing over and over again. "Slide on down the staircase, that picture-perfect moment. Receiv

You think it's hot to be sad but it's not.

Do you have a friend of a friend that continuously makes poor decisions and they just bring you down? This is one take on K.Flay's "Bad Vibes." "You think it's hot to be sad but it's not. You're an ex punk slipping stones in your Docs. You're in a circle of people with fun that's illegal." Sure, we may feel bad for these people but you have to watch out for Number One and that's you. Kristine Flaherty tells us to not engage in these bad decisions. After all, you already feel great so why mess up a good thing? Stop interacting with those who make you feel worried, afraid, or upset. There comes a point where trying to help others doesn't feel rewarding anymore—especially when the people you try to help complain about nonsense. "You think it's cooler to have bad thoughts, never eat ice cream, only take white drugs." The lyrics make up one big dis but the intention of "Bad Vibes" is anything but… In fa

"Jumpstarted," the first song in Jukebox the Ghost's new album, Off To The Races, sounds like as if Queen was in their prime and made a Top 40 hit. In addition to drums, piano, and guitar, every band member sings at varying pitches. This number tells a story of a new relationship where one can already see their future of being married with kids. Fans of How I Met Your Mother have seen this over and over again. The main character, Ted Mosby, played by Josh Radnor, is ready for married life right from the start. "Off to the races; got my love jumpstarted. The only one I want is you. I hear the bells and the ring and already four kids and the big ol' wedding." However, there is always a catch. Much like Ted Mosby's situation with his main love interest, Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), something always comes up. First, Robin states she doesn't want kids. Next, she falls in love with Ted's second best friend, Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harr
