The house is glass.

"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones" means that one should not criticize others, because everybody has faults of one kind or another. In other words, don't be be a hypocrite.

Cage The Elephant doesn't care what you think of them and they prove it in their newest song titled "House Of Glass." This tune is unlike anything else they've created. Most listeners know of this band as an indie rock band and that's it. "House Of Glass" is straight up punk and it's a refreshing take on the alternative scene that hasn't really been heard in a few decades.
"Brick by brick…make it last. Hit that line. The house is glass."
The band considers a lot more flaws when living in a glass house than taking on criticism and hypocrisy. Cage the Elephant thinks of the reflections on the house as a metaphor for doing the same thing over and over again.
"Slide on down the staircase, that picture-perfect moment. Receiver projected…act like if you own it. Smile for the camera, repeat, and do it over. Smile for the camera, repeat, and do it over. Joke's on you, the needle prick. Cut me down, I need a break."
But just because you can see something about to happen over a mile away, that doesn't mean you believe in it. After all, why should you believe in a hypocrite? They're just angry that they're not as successful as you and there is no reason for them to tear you down.
"It's an illusion, this admiration of mutilation; my isolation. It's an illusion, this admiration of mutilation; my isolation…my isolation. My isolation, it's an illusion."
It's punk-rock. Without talking to the band, there is no way of knowing if this portrayed message is accurate at all. Punk is often a way to get back at The Man so it is possible there is a message about The White House here. However, when pairing this song with a beer, let's go with the general message of hypocrisy.

Cincinnati has a rich culture of brewing with plenty of breweries around the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. When Rhinegeist pitched their idea, the city thought they were nuts and many people didn't believe they could make it with so much competition. On top of that, most of the breweries in the area were selling beer for their local community and could not fathom the idea of distributing their beers across the nation. They opened in 2013. Less than six years later, they distribute in six states and are one of the top thirty largest craft breweries in the nation.

Try the IPA that started it all, Rhinegeist Brewery's flagship beer, Truth. This beer has a tropical fruit aroma with notes of grapefruit and mango.
