Why must it be a June bug?

June bugs feed on trees, shrubs, and other plants. They are the monster that rises from your backyard making your garden turn from heaven to hell.
"What is in store? Big bug; it's a June bug. Flying at me; I need a huge hug. Kill me. Oh please…rather die than to see a June bug."
A little emo. All rock. Scat! "Junebug" by Fencer is one crazy and heavy song about a ridiculous fear. The drums, guitar, and vocals are all played insanely fast. The lead singer even scats about June bugs in the rhythm of the lead guitar.

Maybe the band members are huge nature activists or maybe they just really hate the look of this beetle. Either way, this song is clearly made in hatred of June bugs.
"See a June bug; don't be a June bug. See a June bug; don't be a June bug. Why must it be a June bug?"
Found throughout a huge chunk of Texas, mostly in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, is a beer called June Bug Summer Wheat by Nine Band Brewing but this is not the beer to pair with this humorously dark song.

After all, this jam is about hating June bugs, not finding them pleasant, and the summer wheat is a light and crisp ale that anyone would find refreshing. However, Nine Band has many great beers including their Toad Chocker Barley Wine.
"Big eyes and terrifies me and all of the other guys."
Nine Band's mentions "when the rainclouds boil up out west, and lightning makes the coyotes’ hair stand on end, we know we’re in for an all-powerful, gully-washing, toad-choker downpour." This complex barley wine will quench your desire with earthy tones of coffee and caramel. And it's heavy just like Fencer's single.

Mean bugs and vicious storms…nature can be terrifying.
