There's a picture on the wall of Kanye West.

"Freaking Out," the psychedelic pop-rock song by The Wrecks, gets pretty weird…
"In the bathroom, on my back, there's a picture on the wall of Kanye West. He's staring at me; he's staring at me. I'm freaking out; I'm freaking out."
…as weird as an IPA labeled with a tiger shooting rainbow-lasers out of his eyes. Elysian's Dayglow IPA pairs perfectly with the odd sounds The Wrecks bring us in this new single.
"I'm on the lawn. It's almost 3:00. I look around; I look at her; she looks at me. She's suspicious; she's suspicious. I'm freaking out; I'm freaking out."
The lyrics and the sounds of the keyboard will automatically have you thinking, "this is weird." And even more so if you listen to the guitar rift in the first second as you stare at your newly found Dayglow bottle.

But then you take a sip. It's crisp, a little juicy, and oh my—is that pineapple? Yes, it is! Now your on to the chorus…
"I feel fine…the best I've felt in quite awhile. I feel fine. I've waited for this all my life. Save my soul; I swear I may never die. I feel fine.  I'm freaking out and I feel fine."
…and you realize everything is fine. Yes, you're freaking out but it's not you. It's just that this beer is bomb and this song turns into something a little more recognizable. In fact, if you like Cage The Elephant or Grouplove, there is no doubt you'll dig "Freaking Out." It's got that same sort-of garage sound that the others bands do during the chorus.

But as soon as the chorus is over, it gets weird again and if you listen closely, you find out why exactly the lead singer is freaking out. But as far as this post goes…you're just freaking out because of how great this IPA really is…and your feeling fine.
"I'm feeling fine. I found a flower, it's in my shoe, and it is mine. Things are fine now."
Congrats to the band on a new record deal!
