We're dancing people.

"Purple Hat" by the EDM-rock duo, Sofi Tukker, is as beautiful as a lactose sour. "Purple hat, cheetah print, dancing on the people…rolled up at the after joint, dancing, dancing on the people…people dancing on the people. I got people on the people, people." Right away, this song gets as hype and weird as any alternative song can be but you can't help but dance. In a way, the song is like a sour beer. Sours are pretty weird but they are often fresh and full of flavor surprises. "Everybody in the booth, can tell myself apart from you, now that we're dancing people." Then you hear a beautiful voice to slow the song down making this new alternative hit enjoyable to listen to on repeat. That's the lactose of the song. No matter the style, lactose in beers really smooths them out and it's hard to just have one. "See me see you dancing on the people. Climb up on the booth, hanging from the people on the people. My head hits t

RaR Brewing has been "proudly brewing since the summer of 2013 with no intentions of slowing down." "I just wanna be the best." Maryland has become a competitive market for craft beer but that has not stopped RaR from getting their name known by great strides with some new creative beers and fun marketing ideas. "Me, I wanna walk a little bit taller. Me, I wanna feel a little bit stronger. Me, I wanna think a little bit smarter. Said I just wanna be the best." Firstly, they started out with just some solid beers. They were not crazy but they were so great and smooth that they have become go-to beers for Maryland locals. Those are their Nanticoke Nectar IPA, Country Ride Pale Ale, and Groove City Hefeweizen. These early beers set the foundation of the brewery's sights. They knew they could become something bigger just like AWOLNATION. Their new single, "The Best" is simply just about that…becoming the best. AWOLNATION is not a norma

Happy Thanksgiving! While reading this post, listen to the brand new song by Caamp, "Peach Fuzz," a folky rock song with beach vibes. Although it's Turkey Day, let's talk about Friendsgiving. In other words…any house party with strangers and mutual friends between you and them. In particular, there is one stranger that has caught your eye. "I was in the corner drinking from the punch. You were in the kitchen cutting up a rug. No need to complicate it…I had fallen in love." They stand alone in the kitchen. They're mysterious. You ask a friend if they know the stranger. They tell you their name but that's about it. Your friend is asked to join a drinking game. At this point, you're just staring at your phone and pretending you still have punch in your cup. They're enjoying the music and dancing to themselves. It's a little weird but you like that. You glance at them. They glance at you. You walk over and ask if they would like a fest

White Reaper has been taking over the radio lately with a refreshing sound that takes you back when rock & roll was king. At the time, Big Beer ruled all. There were a lot of lager drinkers at the time. Lagers are great for rock shows too. They are easy to drink and won't put you on your ass when your roaming the mosh pits. Now, onto what lager should be paired with White Reaper's biggest hit so far, "Might Be Right." "I woke up with a curse. I was searching. I was looking through the purse taking measures to defend me 'cause you swore you'd always treat me like a friend." You're a spy and not a good one. You're someone that can't be trusted. But then again, who can be? We now live in an age where not having information means you're probably hiding something. "I suppose it simply wasn't meant to be. Well, my mother told me first. She said when things aren't getting bad, look out, they might be getting worse.&qu
