You could bring down my level of concern.

Twenty One Pilots' last album, Trench, was much darker than their previous albums and it's great to see a band try something new and challenging. However, their other albums were all over the place which is a good thing. At the time, the idea of combining genres of all kinds was really fresh.

Their albums Blurryface and Vessel had songs sharing genres like hip hop, electronic, pop, and rap rock. Their latest single, "Level of Concern," is no different; except this time it's more funky. Twenty One Pilots went back to their roots and its great.

"You could bring down my level of concern. Just need you to tell me we're alright, tell me we're okay."

"Level of Concern" is about the pandemic currently taking over the world. In the beginning, people had many concerns. Hell... people are still concerned about a lot including their income and health to name just a few. However, Tyler Joseph, the lead singer of the duo, wrote this song to sing about his main concern, loneliness.

"I'm asking you to stay in my bunker underneath the surface. Wondering would you be my little quarantine or is this the way it ends?"

There are two stages of his concern. Firstly, there is the concern about what happens during quarantine. Does a couple start living with each other or do they end it all? If they don't decide, then a promise of staying together after quarantine will suffice...even if it is a lie.

"Just need you to tell me we're alright...in a world where you could just lie to me and I'd be okay."

But hopefully it's not a lie. Hopefully it's The Truth.

The Truth is an Imperial IPA by Flying Dog, a brewery based in Frederick, MD. They say, "if this isn't the perfect IPA, it's pretty damn close. Over the course of three years, The Truth was scientifically-engineered to be the holy grail for IPA lovers."

True or false, we all need a little hope (or hops) in our lives. Give it time and things will return to normal.

"We'll be okay."

There's a picture on the wall of Kanye West.

Sometimes the only way out is as a carcass.

I danced with the devil and I've got to say he's not so tough.
