I need ya now!
It's time to get dancing with some alternative EDM! The album COLOR BLOND by pluko is full of dance music and its something we could all use during a pandemic with not much going on in the world right now. Of course, you'll have to dance by yourself at home.
Choose any song from the album and you'll be bobbing your head or pumping your fist. For the sake of this blog, we will focus on the song "blessings" featuring Nate Traveller. Although, this one might be one of pluko's tame songs but it's still pretty hype.
"In this place all by myself. Doesn't matter who's around. Feels like I'm in over my head. Gotta stop staring at the ground."
The easiest way to complete something is to start it! You can't just look at the ground and expect to see progress. However, sometimes it is easier to finish what you started when you have your partner to help.
"And I wonder if I make it out. Another blessing comes falling down. I know you wanna leave but i need ya - but I need you now!"
This is one interpretation of the song. Brewers often go down a similar path. Brewing is an art and a science. Sometimes a beer doesn't always end up as expected. Other times, something amazing is created when two brew masters collaborate.
"Everyday I'm in a new place. Somebody texting on my pictures. Why I need you here? So my head's clear; so my feet walkin' in the right direction."The All Together Collaboration takes this idea on a whole new level. It's a worldwide initiative to support hospitality professionals. It's an effort to raise awareness and provide relief, even in the smallest way, to those who are struggling including brewers, servers, bartenders, bussers, dishwashers, GMs, buyers, chefs, and owners.
The base recipes of a New England IPA and a West Coast IPA was created by Other Half Brewing who has locations in Brooklyn, Bloomfield, NY and Washington, DC. Over 850 breweries in all 50 states and over an additional 50 countries have joined in on the initiative.
